I seriously think all of you who are saying “I love my .3 carat,” “over one carat is gaudy,” “.25 carats is perfect for my tiny fingers,” “be proud of your .75 carat” etc etc are totally full of bs!
Thats like saying “I’d prefer a Kia over a Mercedes”
If I was given anything under a carat (and that’s a stretch), my mucus membranes would be drier than the Sahara in the middle of a scorching summer day!

I think they love their rings because of the sentimental value…not necessarily because of the price/carat size.

But just to echo PPs, not everyone is that materialistic. Sentimental value goes a long ways.
