taylance :  My ring from my first marriage was only .25 as well, and it was still a beautiful ring. I was so sad to hear it ended up at the bottom of the ocean, because I had the band specially designed, and it was so unique. There will never be another like it. I would rather he pawned it so that someone would love it as much as I did.

I got married at 20 as well. I was a lot like you in that we were smart with our money. Instead of having a big wedding, we bought furniture! laughing

My centre is just .47 carats and it belonged to my grandmother. I had such a terrible inferiority complex about its size and clarity basically until after I got married. But after all the stress wore off I really started to love my stone and it really doesn’t look that small to me anymore. I’m so looking forward to being able to share with my daughter about her great grandmother someday when I show her this ring.

Your ring is lovely and it looks great on you!!

0488CF93-4590-4243-A6B5-C4CD7A05DA79I love it!!  My center stone is 1/3 carat.  At first I wanted one a little bit bigger, but now that I have started wedding planning and getting excited about being a wife I haven’t thought twice about the size of my ring.  I just learned to be happy with what I have and not sweat it.  Your ring is lovely don’t get caught up on what you see other people with it’s not going to change the size of your ring.  Enjoy your ring and wear it proudly and own it!!!!!

My rings are also from Shaneco and had them for years and can’t talk highly enough about them and their warranty. And I know live in a state without one. ( just got it back today from warranty work) My center stone is only .37 and I’ll be honest sometimes I have insecurities about it. We debate upgrading or not, but this ring represents a special time in our marriage and I have never seen another one like it! Your ring is beautiful!

sonshine9 :  Of course it’s real. Unless you’re wearing a hologram (This is been my standard response when someone asks if my ring is “real”.

My rings are dainty, and they’re the upgraded set to what I had before, which was a 0.25ctw solitaire. This one is 0.60ctw. And we bought it secondhand! I’m all for being practical with our money, we work hard for it and want to stretch it as far as possible. So I’m going to enjoy my dainty little ring set and use the extra money we have to take a trip and check off some things on our bucket lists. Enjoy your gorgeous ring and don’t be selfconscious, bigger doesn’t necessarily mean more beautiful.

sunburn :  Thank you — perfect answer! smile

yorkshirelass86 :  Your ring is gorgeous! I was totally willing (and actually wanted) 2nd hand. I would have loved to have a ring that already had a history. I just was not able to find anything I liked more than the one I have chosen. I love the simplicity of a simple solitaire with clean lines.

taylance :  Your ring is gorgeous. Dont be insecure about the size and shape looks beautiful on your hand. I have both moissanite sets and diamonds sets and lately I’m enjoying wearing my dainty original diamond set. I guess I’m feeling nostalgic. I think you made the right choice especially after the issues you had with F.A.B over your moissy ring.

tiff0519 :  Your ring is beautiful. Its perfect for your hand and I absolutely love your nails!

Tori5810 :  I have never seen a set quite like yours.😍 I love the milgrain swirls in the outer halo. It looks alot larger than the carat weight too

yorkshirelass86 :  I love your set…I’m partial because we are ring twins! Maybe not identical twins but atleast fraternal twins or ring sisters! My ring has a .58 carat center 1.30 tcw. I love it. I also love that you chose to upgrade wisely and saved money to buy things you want or to do things you want to do. That’s why I dont per say upgrade I just get alternative rings but usually they are moissy because I dont put let my love of jewelry or having jewelry options effect my finances.  Here’s a pic of my original set…

I inherited this from my grandmother who had a collection of wedding sets. She only ever had one husband, but she liked to switch it up a lot. This is one of her weirder sets. It’s a .36ct. I want to have the stone set in a halo solitaire with no pave, but I can’t find a reasonably priced setting online. Do any of you have online shops or Etsy shops that you would recommend?

Mine is a 1/3 carat round Leo Artisan (Artisans are the best of the best Leos) and I adore it. 🙂 Fiance asked me if I prefered quality over size, and I told him it depends….. but when I caught wind that he was sitting in front of the Leos AT THAT MOMENT (I have friends in the right places, lol), I knew exactly which to jump for. 😉
