Your wedding was beautiful!  I really love the tissue packets and will probably steal the idea.  How’d you make them?  Your advice to focus on what will make a difference to guests — the thoughtful touches and stuff seems spot on.  It’s what I have to chant to myself when I want stuff that costs too much and will only make a difference to me (in the short run.  in the long run I will only regret overspending).

What was your budget breakdown?  You deserve a standing ovation for the final price tag.

I think the biggest thing your wedding shows is how important good photography is! Your pictures really show how beautiful your wedding was. I love love love that your wedding cake was peach pie!

What an inspiration for brides on a budget! I love the pictures and all the details of your wedding. How smart it was to book it as a brunch instead of a reception. It saved you tons and still turned out so beautiful!

I loved your wedding!  You did something beautiful without a lot of money.  We’re on a budget as well and it’s so great to see someone who has done something so wonderful for so little (by today’s standards).  Thanks for sharing!

Thanks!  My fiance and I have about the same budget for a New Husband wedding next summer, and this was very encouraging.  We’re also photographers (by degree:), therefore don’t want to skimp despite our limited budget.  Maybe if we shot weddings we could afford our own 😉

And I love that you chose the Magnetic Fields…that made me so happy!!!
