So I’m taking my dress for alterations soon. I have my shoes, and I have a crinoline slip. But I’m not sure about what else. One of my bridesmaids told me that when she went to get her alterations, they told her she really didn’t need a bra and were trying to talk her out of wearing one (she refused, as at the time she had a very large chest and felt uncomfortable without one). Now I’m trying to decide what to do. Strapless bra? Nothing? Something else? How many of you were told not to wear a bra at all? Is it odd that my friend’s seamstress told her that or is it common? I wear a 34Dirty Delete and I feel like I should have something, but I’m just not sure what to do about it. Suggestions?
Here’s my dress:

bring a strapless with you. your seamstress will go over the options…usually it’s wear a bra or have cups sewn in. if your dress has good boning you might not need the bra, but that depends on your comfort level.

i would suggest looking into a good strapless – though they should be able to fit you without one – some dresses just have the perfect structure for no bra – mine on the other hand is strapless, doesnt have alot of boning and isnt a corset top so they fit it pretty snug to my body and technically i could go no bra but i want that extra lift so i bought a strapless and it fits under my dress even though i didnt have it for the fitting..
i found a good strapless bra at http://www.biggerbras.com
im a 34D
