I don’t really have any answers for you, because I am pretty much in the same. My bridesmaids are my 3 sisters and FI’s sister. My two youngest sisters are both under age now, but one will be 18 a month before my wedding. I don’t want to exclude them entirely either, as they are very important to me.

Well it seems I’m in the same situation! My sister will be 18, so just 1 year shy of the legal drinking age, so we’re having a house shin-dig for the first half and then going clubbing after without her.  She understands.

If your heart is set on Vegas, there are still plenty of shows and things that you could all go to together! And even if you decide to do some 18+ activities, at least they two youngin’s will have each other to hang out with! However, if you’re not set on Vegas I think a beach trip might be more inclusive. I went to Key West before I was 21 and we had a great time going to drag shows, hitting up bars (you don’t have to be 21 to get in), hanging out on the beach, snorkling, parasailing, etc.

The only places that I’ve seen that exclude people under 21 are nightclubs who have a strict rule on this, but there are many, many other options of things to do if you have young people in your Bridal Party. When you say ‘vegas thing’, do you mean actually going to Vegas? If so, you can still enjoy going to the casino (as long as they don’t gamble and you’re 100% clear on that – no point in them winning anything when they would have to give it right back!), eating at one of the great restaurants there, and doing other fun things (roller coaster @ NY NY, rides on top of the Stratosphere, going to the top of the Eiffel Tower, etc.). People who still want to drink can at any of the outdoor hangout spots that they have while still having fun with the young ones. You could also go to a comedy show – that’s always a blast!

We’re all going to Dave and Buster’s (our bridal party and groomsmen) . It’s a big gaming and entertainment place that we’re close to out here in Ohio. Maybe there’s something simillar to that where you live? It works for any age.

None of my BMs are underage, but one of them doesn’t drink. We were talking about your typical bachelorette party but I didn’t want her to feel excluded. My Maid/Matron of Honor had a great compromise instead – we’re going to go out to dinner & shopping (those of us that want drinks can have them) and then we’re going to go back to MOH’s mountain cabin and watch chick-flicks, do a “spa day” theme, drink wine (again, those of us that want to) and hang out. 🙂 I’m really excited for it!

@rainsapphire1: Our guys are going to D&B! Two of THEM are underage (family) and then one of the older ones doesn’t drink, so only Fiance and one other Groomsmen even drink. It seemed like a waste to have it focus on that. Plus they are all big kids at heart and will have a blast. Fiance wants to go to D&B and also go play mini-golf. Lol. Love him.

@little_cricket:  It’s pretty much what we’re doing, so of course I think it’ll work. 🙂 Ideas about what?
