There should be some clubs/bars in your area that are 18+ meaning she could go, but couldn’t drink. I’d try looking for those.

Would they be open to a nice dinner at a place that serves alcohol?

Sounds like they’re being a little unreasonable.

@shootznladrz89:  Maybe have a full day of activities with possibly visiting something more… of age later in the day/early evening?  I’m going to be in a similar situation as you so thought startign out with a brunch and maybe something fun and light during the day.

@shootznladrz89:  this is YOUR bachelorette party, your BM’s shouldn’t have final say, you do.

they only host the shower where you are not apart of the planning.

My SIL did two bachelorette parties. One for everyone 21+ and one including the people under 21. I will be 21 right before the wedding and am not a fan of drinking/partying so we may go to the spa, have a girls day/night, go bowling/laser tag and stuff that all of my bridal party can go to. The over 21 bridesmaids can go out and drink anytime, there are lots of options for bachelorette parties for underagers as well.

Try doing a comedy club or going to see a band (those are usually a “stamp your hand if you’re over 21” scenes)

Not sure if this suggestion will help or not, but I was only 20 when my brother got married and I was a bridesmaid.  All the other ladies attending the bachlorette were over 21.  So they borrowed an ID from someone they knew for me, and I got in to all the bars and clubs with them.

@shootznladrz89:  where are you located? is it possible to come up to canada? road trip! or maybe you can rent a boat and everyone can drink out in the open water. Go to a cabin for the weekend, camping,*glamping*….. hmmm

my sister is 15 so we are having the same issues, but at least at 19 you look like you could be 21! you could get away with the fake id thing….

@shootznladrz89:  FI has this problem, as his little brother is 20. I’M NOT SAYING I CONDONE UNDERAGE DRINKING, but he drinks all the time and has since he was a teenager – weird family dynamics at play here – so they are going on a boys’ weekend to white water raft and zipline and will just take their own booze with them.

@ajillity81:  exactly what I was going to say! It is your bachelorette party and you are right to want to include her in your party!

@shootznladrz89:  i told my MOH what I wanted to do.  she wanted to do all the planning and making arrangements and i told her that was fine with me.  i plan on paying my own portion of the BP.
