Oooohh I’m commenting on this thread for future reference.  I’m 22, but all of my bridesmaids are underage (sisters and Fiance sister) so I need something “tame” to do with them.

Maybe a spa day of sorts?  You could host a little party with mani/pedi stations, lots of chocolate, lemon water, DIY facial stuff, etc.

My older sister was legal at the time of her bachelorette party but didnt want to ‘party’ so we got a room at a nice hotel with a beautiful spa and the 3 of us did a spa day, dinner and rented sappy romance movies and had time to connect and talk about her upcoming nuptials and relax before the craziness of the wedding!

I love board games so I think adding games would be fun. At another bachelorette I was at, this one more of an actual party, we came up with a scavenger hunt type list for the bride and took photos of her completing the challenges. Things like get someone to do the chicken dance with you. Get a man over 50 to serenade you. Get someone to take their shirt off for you. A really funny one was we had her put on a garter belt and go around asking people if they wanted to donate to her ‘honey moon fund’.. It may have gone over well because we were at a bar and people were drinking, but she ended up getting about 130$ and paid for a round of drinks!

The toilet paper wedding dress challenge is always fun too!

I would pick the date after her shower because she will probably have a lot of last minute things to do the day before her wedding.

I think a spa day/night with a nice dinner is a great idea. If you can get a room at a spa to stay the night that would be great & watch movies.

I LOVE @kakers idea of a scavenger hunt, that is great and no alcohol required!

one of my bridesmaids was underaged (and still is, dangit!), so my SIL aka Maid/Matron of Honor booked a hotel room and we had a girls’ night in with coughalcoholcough. that was after a dinner together though.

I vote for a spa day. Any time!

A friend of mine didn’t want to party either, and a group went out to a place  that made glass plates/ceramics and did that (then to dinner)

Are there any belly dance or pole dance instructors in the area? I once went to a bach party where a pole dancing instructor basically did a bit of a routine, and showed everyone what to do and then gave them a chance to spin around the pole for a bit. It was actually so much fun and we all had a good laugh!

I think just going out for a fun dinner and, later, dessert, together would provide an enjoyable evening for all.  Perhaps the place you go for dessert could be somewhere that offers Karaoke or, as someone already noted, games (such as D&B’s.)

I second pole dancing – I did it for a friends bachelorette, and you don’t need alcohol for it to be fun. We had a great time trying to walk in the platform heels (they provide them, yes, stripper shoes) and it was a GREAT workout to boot! I was sore for days.

@alishaloo: it’s kind of like a grown-up version of chuck e. cheese or john’s incredible pizza co. they have games, prizes, a bar/happy hour, etc. i’ve never been there myself, but i hear it’s a lot of fun.
