James Clifford.  Most people have heard of his original signature line that bears his common first and last names (Jim Hjelm) — a line I believe he subsequently sold, but not as many people know of his designs under his formal first and middle names.  He also has a JCH label.

I honestly had never heard of Paloma Blanca before, and I know a lot of ladies haven’t. Obviously I’m biased since I wore the 4111, but all of their gowns are just stunning and AMAZING quality! My seamstress totally swooned over the fact that my gown was 100% silk and not a silk/poly blend like most dresses are.

….I want to wear my dress again, maybe I’ll just go put it on and sit on the couch with it ^_^

MARISA! The company doesn’t do any advertising so it’s near impossible to find pictures of their dresses. The only way I found any pictures of my dress was through searching through their user-uploaded “Family Album.” They make such beautiful dresses!

Mikaella dresses! They’re by the same designer as Paloma Blanca. The quality is great and, better yet, most dresses are in the <$1,600 range!

My dress is a Pattis. I havent seen another one on here so far (or overlooked it). My seamstress also hadn’t heard of it.

Not sure if it’s underrated or just not as common?

Im going to wear a dress from Stefan Jolie, an exclusive designer from a bridal company in my Philadelphia region. Sometimes I feel special because not many people wear the same dress as mine, at least I have not seen it yet on this board nor the internet. The beading is amazing. I am glad I chose this one over the Maggie dress I originally picked

@chaz:  i agree that marisa is underrated.  i think watters is also underrated.  her dresses are silk and priced cheaper than a lot of the other designrs.

I had never heard of the designer who did my dress until I bought it. I’ll be wearing Martina Liana.
