This is my Ivory Silk Chiffon dress with French Lace applique bodice on an invisible neckline, excuse the pictures , im planning on wearing a wreath, flower cron or headband on the day. I love my dress – I couldnt imagine being in anything structured or glitzy, ive had alot of people telling me its not traditional enough but i dont agree! its perfect for our garden wedding 🙂

It’s beautiful! Where did you get it, if you don’t mind me asking? My sister is going for the same look for her wedding and we’re in Sydney too!

I guess I consider mine earthy! Our wedding definately was.
The dress is Calais by San Patrick. I loved that is had to “bling” and the feathery petals along the bottom. Sorry for posting a ton of pics- we just got back all our (low res) photos, so I’m still obsessing 😉
(too bad the front layer is stuck in tihs pic 🙁 – I may get the photog to edit it?. Below you can see it lying how it is supposed to:
Ok…last pic 🙂

@beautifullyboheamian: is that by any chance this dress with the chiffon skirt?
I have been thinking pretty hard about it but am worried without being able to try it on…I am a 32C and am worried without a somewhat structured bodice it won’t look like it fits correctly.
ETA: it looks stunning on you.

@yandz: Yes!! its the Loren with chiffon skirt, it fits amazingly, I have no boobs im a 10a, you im sure if you wanted the extra support you would be able to wear cups, a seamstress may even be able to sew them in for you? Otherwise, they have another dress called “Sally” that is my next favourite!
WOW that is absolutely STUNNING loving the feather details you look amazing!

I don’t know if I’d be considered “earthy”, but defintiely off-beat. Here’s mine.
