Can’t everyone just walk in individually? That’s what we did and it it worked perfectly, and I prefer the way it looks TBH.

purenuptial :  We were in the same situation….I wanted even bridal parties but didn’t want Darling Husband to just ask anyone. We had 4 bridesmaids and 3 groomsmen. I just had my brother in law (sister’s husband who was in the wedding) walk both my sisters down at the same time. It worked perfectly! You can’t even tell in the pictures that the sides are uneven.

purenuptial :  I think you’re putting a lot of thought into ranking your family members. This is a huge problem with bridal parties that I wish didn’t exist. Everyone is there to see you and your Fiance get married, not to see who won a contest of favorites. Let your nieces walk together as family. If you want to honor your 10 year old niece, find a lovely hair piece or bracelet from etsy and gift that to her IN PRIVATE. Let her know in small ways how much she means to you and let the wedding ceremony focus on your marriage, not who you think is the better relative.

ETA: 10 years old is too young to be worried about how much her aunt is honoring her. This is the sort of thing that bitter college friends get all worked up about when they don’t get picked to be a bridesmaid after being friends for 8 years. I think she’s going to just happy to be there for you 🙂
