I had 3, he had 4. It really just isn’t an issue. They walked in alone and then zipper walked out alone as well. I also had a bridesman. We were really throwing a wrench in things 😉

armywifetobe:  My bridal party will be uneven. Doesn’t make sense to have an even number on both bridal parties just for the sake of it.

I saw a picture a few days back where the couple was in front and the wedding party was scattered behind them. I wish I could find it. But that would help with the uneven numbers. Maybe place you And your Fiance in the middle, place the three guys with one on each in and in the middle and the girls in between.

I had five BMs and hubby had eight GMs – and that was after he cut it down from twelve! Didn’t bother me in the slightest that we were uneven in numbers. I would have been fine with much less, and two of my BMs were hubby’s sisters who he wanted to be in the wedding.  Of course, I was totally supportive of that.  Our photographer was used to uneven numbers, and nothing looks weird or “off” with our photos.  I agree with PPs – it’s your wedding, do what you want!

We had an uneven wedding party. We were always going to have 4 BMS and 3 groomsmen. At the last minute, one of the groomsmen had to drop out so we had 4 and 2.

It was fine! Everyone will be looking at the happy couple anyway 🙂
