We’re getting an unexpected bonus at work – about $2k. Whoo hoo! I’m planning on using most of it to pay off my credit card balance and add to savings, but I’d like to take about $200 for something fun and splurge-y. Only problem is, I can’t decide what to do with it!
So, bees, please tell me what you would do with $200 or so in fun money! Shoes? A new purse? A quick weekend getaway? A really nice dinner date? Please inspire me! 🙂

Lucky!! lol I would totally buy some cute new shoes, and maybe get a nice pedicure so my feet looked good in my new shoes! I have a little bit of a shoe addiction though!!

If it were me, I’d be at best buy picking out a few new bluray’s and then put some money on gift cards for later. (I love my movies)
Another fun thing I might do is play tourist with my fiance in my own town. Spend the day at a museum (or some local attraction) and then finish the day off with a dinner out.

I would do a massage/facial and buy a new pair of shoes 🙂

You’re in Brooklyn, maybe see a new show that you’ve been eyeing?
Or I think subsiding a little weekend away might be nice.
A new dress/shirt for you and something for DH?

It would be going to our house fund, although whenever Darling Husband gets a raise we also go out for dinner to celebrate.

$200 would probably be a massage and a new outfit for me 🙂

Straight to savings, unless Fiance can make a convincing case otherwise. It would have to be for something we would spend on anyway… I wouldn’t see it as an excuse to buy something else entirely.

I would pamper myself and then head out for a night with the girls

I would spend it all on my dogs. LOL Seriously, I have been eyeing so many cute things for them recently. 🙂

I would spend it in Sephora!

I agree with a PP about spending it in Sephora! Or else probably a Broadway play or dinner in the city.

We were in the same boat about 2 weeks ago. Fiancee got a 10K bonus. After taxes it was about 8500. 5000 was put into our honeymoon fund and the other 3500 paid of bills.
