@CiaArielleNeugebauer:  Is it possible that when you ordered the wrong color number was written down? I would call the salon and express your concern. If you saw a swatch, you should get the color that you said that you wanted, and it sounds like you got a much different one.

I was in a wedding where the bride picked the color from a swatch and when the full dresses arrive.. BOOM!!!!  COLOR IN YOUR FACE!

She was upset, but ultimately moved on.  Everyone had already invested in the dresses and it was getting close to the wedding.  We wore the dresses with smiles, MOST of us reassured her they were fine, and while camera phone pictures didn’t do us any justice, the photographer ends up using filters and lighting to give certain effects anyway.  Not that there are pictures of us in our dresses all over her house– because ultimately, most people frame the pictures of just the couple anyway.  Don’t sweat it!

@CiaArielleNeugebauer:  I personally think they are beautiful and color is very pretty, but if it doesn’t match the pink you were thinking then you should call the salon and reorder if possible and make sure the correct number was written down.

It is definitely very pink. I think it is pretty but I agree with calling the salon to express your concern.

@CiaArielleNeugebauer:  I really don’t think it looks bad. It’s pretty. And it’ll probably be flattering on any skin tone.

@CiaArielleNeugebauer:  I’m going to be honest, that is pretty darn pink. I agree that the lighter shade would be much, much prettier. I would call the salon, and see if there’s any way they can reorder with the lighter shade. If it’s going to be too expensive, perhaps you can change the color of the lining to a cream/nude. That might help to tone down the Pepto Pink.

@CiaArielleNeugebauer:  He usually shows up 3 weeks before the wedding and btw, I was waiting on him too! He didn’t show for me 🙁
