Unusual names I love but will likely never use are:

Adair (doesn’t go at all with either my maiden name or his last name)

Sapphira (my fiancé thinks it’s a stripper name)

Godiva (candy connotations obviously, but maybe I’ll still use it)

Pippa (because it’s longer form is Phillipa, which I really hate)

Sansa (as much as I’ve looked, there’s no other Sansas beyond Sansa Stark, and I’m not THAT much of a GOT fan girl)

FutureMrsTY :   sarbear21 :  Sloane is our #1 girl name. We find out if we get to use it in 20 weeks! 🙂

Aside from that, we prefer somewhat classic names for girls. However my husband really loves the idea of using my maternal grandmother’s name, Xenia (pronounced Zen-ya. She was Panamanian). While I love it and LOVE the sentiment, I’m afraid it’s a bit too far out there. But, TBD.

beesaredyingatanalarmingrate :  Really? That’s crazy, it’s so very uncommon. Glad to know it was well received. It’s definitely not off the list…

The most unique girl names that I like are Paisley, Brynn, or Margot.  The rest are all fairly common: Penelope, Nora, Charlotte, Addison, Abigail, Amelia, and Lillian.  Pretty sure my baby girl is going to be Addison.  I just love it.
