So here’s the deal:
I live in NYC which has a ton of awesome spots for bachelorette parties but I’m not sure I want to stay here when I live here, I’m near atlantic city, which is totally not me, and I’m also sort of by Long Island which is obviously more of a chill, relaxed location. I want to do something different, and I’m not a big drinker but I like to have fun! Did any of you bees have unique bachelorette parties that you could share? My bridesmaids are scattered all over and it seems like it’s going to be my decision.
Thanks!

My friend’s bachelorette day included an escape room- it was so much fun! Then afterwards we got blowouts at Drybar and went to a nice dinner at a speakeasy-type place with fancy cocktails.
I had a pretty chill bachelorette- I had 4/5 of my bridesmaids in town for my shower the next day so I just wanted something small- we had a slumber party, drank some bellinis, and played Cads about Matrimony.

My friend had a bachelorette weekend and we stayed at a beach house in the Outer Banks. It was nice because we all got to know each other a little bit better and bond, and we had a blast going kayaking (and of course drinking).

I’m an NYC bride too. We’re doing a weekend in the catskills, particularly Woodstock/Saugerties (I have a house up there, so it’s cost effective for my broke galpals) and doing a pool party, hiking, yoga. If AC/partying isn’t your scene, I highly recommend it. Rentals up there are very affordable and it’s beautiful any time of year, though rentals sell out a lot in the summer. It’s also very close (little over 2 hours) and the bus goes right there from port authority. If you want recommendations, let me know!
If you stay in NYC, royal palms shuffleboard club is fun and I second the slumber party idea.

My cousin is planning a bach for her best friend and they are going on a weekend trip to Lake Tahoe and staying in a cabin. They are going kayaking on the lake, hiking and doing activities back at the cabin.
I’m from CA and its becoming more and more popular for people to go to Disneyland or Six Flags for their bach.

i went to a bach party in LBI – the bride’s family had a house there although you could rent one too. we went to a winery one day and atlantic city one night (drag show, karaoke). another day we just chilled outside by the water and had a bbq.

We drove 2.5 hours from where most of my bridal party lived (two came in from way out of town), to a really lovely spa and had a full weekend of spa treatments, horseback riding, and overeating/drinking. It was low key, and super relaxing. 🙂

irishbride2018 : I’m into relaxing 🙂 If you’re in NYC, you could look into heading up to the ADKs or Hudson River Valley. That time of year you should have some options for outdoor/indoor activities and of course, plenty of spas to choose from 🙂 Another thought, I also would suggest heading up to RI- maybe Newport or Jamestown for the weekend? Lots of cute B&Bs, spas, and restaurants. And that’s a pretty reasonable trip from the city. I stayed at this place
