I’ve only been up there a couple of times but what about near Fenway or in the North End?

Anywhere around the water, the North End, a site just outside the city perhaps? The commons and public garden are the most popular so anything away from those 🙂

I think Fort Point would be interesting.  You have the city scene but you can also get some harbour/water shots in.  You can also take some shots by the ICA and end your day with sweets from Flour (I loooove that place!).  🙂

The Institute of Contemporary Art is AMAZING – we did our Epics there. You can photograph anywhere outside the building or in the lobby free of charge. Also, Chinatown is very interesting, we did Epics there too, depending on the feel you are going for.

Keep in mind that if you do pics in the Public Garden/Commons, you have to buy a permit and bring it with you day of, or else they can kick you out and/or force your photog to delete the photos on the spot.

North End, Charlestown, waterfront (like by Storrow or South Station), Boston public library, Beacon Hill, MIT, Harvard/Harvard Square, Christian Science Center on Hunington (awesome architecture), Chinatown

ahhh….this is making me miss Boston!

I think the area around Copley Square and Newbury Street are so beautiful!  A little bit outside of the city – in Southie is Castle Island – there is an old fort there – water – a beach and a lovely park with a swing set and a gazebo!  TONS of beautiful spots there!  Not too far away.

Reflecting pool at the Christian science center, maybe one of the footbridges over storrow at night, definitely along the esplanade, steps down from city hall to fanieul hall (if you come from Govt. Center, go to the left as it’s quieter and easier to probably get some shots), Comm Ave Mall,…. Across the street from the State House at the Mccomack building, behind it they have a little park, it’s really pretty and has a wall waterfall I think.

Maybe in front of one of the theaters .. orpheum, opera house, modern theater.. etc.

As crazy as it sounds, inside of the charles/MGH T is really different and pretty on a nice day. Or if you can do it at an off time, inside of a T car would be really different

FYI, if you’re doing Beacon Hill shot, bring flats! The hill is killer in heels. There are a few playgrounds up there that you could do pictures in.

We did Lousiburg square in Beacon Hill then on Memorial Drive where you can see the skyline before heading over to both Harvard and MIT’s campus where both my husband and I studied. Even in the winter the campuses are magical.
