Also, that bouquet would be super pretty if the train matched the flowers. It kind of looks like it got stuck on the decorations while she was walking by or something.

We did carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, and as another option we offered Revani, which is a cake made from semolina, simple syrup, and orange zest topped with crushed pistachios.

We had red velvet which isn’t terribly unique, but no one in our family had seen it before (it’s not common where they’re from). We tasted lemon with raspberry frosting at our tasting and it was my second favorite – if we had done cupcakes, we absolutely would have had those too. So delicious! I also didn’t think I’d like it much before tasting it, so it was a nice surprise.

I think our cake is interesting/unique although it may not be kid friendly because it has alcohol in it!
