watcherofthestars:  I had a similar issue and went the custom route. It wasn’t any more expensive than the “normal” bands iI looked at and it fits absolutely perfectly πŸ™‚ so worth it!

Your ring is pretty! Honestly, custom isn’t as expensive as you would think so I wouldn’t rule it out if you can’t find anything else.

I just want to say that your ring is beautiful! πŸ™‚ MinimalVS is one of my favourite shops on Etsy and if I were to get engaged I would definitely consider getting a ring from them. I really like bezels and I find that their designs are clean and simple. Love the emerald and princess cut rings that they have. Btw, I personally think that a plain band would look nice with your ring πŸ™‚ Can’t wait to see a picture of your engagement ring on your hand! πŸ˜€

I don’t really have any suggestions other than what PPs said about going custom. I just wanted to say that your ring is stunning! Congratulations! When you get it back from sizing post some pictures, we’d all love to see it. Also, I’m curious to see how your wedding band search turns out. I’m sure a custom jeweler can whip something up for you that you can afford. Good luck!

Very unique ring!! I love it. Have you considered getting MinimalVS to custom make the wedding band?

watcherofthestars:  Have you thought about contacting the etsy designer to see if she has or would be able to make a wedding band that would go with it?

watcherofthestars:  thanks πŸ™‚ I knew I wanted a band with as small a gap as possible, and I just talked through my ideas with the jewellers and this was the outcome. I’m so happy with it, turned out better than I’d imagined πŸ™‚

I saw on another thread you posted on that we’re in the same area – I dont think you should be concerned about what other people think about your ring. You love it and that’s what matters.

The wedding band might be tricky but I think a good start would be talking to the designer of your ring. Lots of people don’t wear wedding bands. Would the ring look okay with a gap between the band and the ering?
