there was a bee on here once who posted her e photos that were done at IKEA. i was skeptical about it until i actually saw the pictures, they were great!  Definitely one of the most unique  ideas i had seen.

Maybe try to do something that incorporates some of your interests or how you met?  Mr C and I are planning to do our engagement photos with a vintage typewriter and some flowers from etsy made out of book pages because I’m a writer, we met when he commented on a story of mine and we’re both passionate about reading.  So we worked up a theme for our shoot that incorporates that and will work with the vintage style for our wedding.

@Soon2BeMrsWilliams: There are so much you can do! What do you and your Fiance like to do? You could do a themed e-session or you can choose a location dear to you. I saw an e-session in which the couple met at a laundry mat and their pictures were so adorable and they looked like they had so much fun!

This is my fave pic from our e-shoot. We were laying on the ground and the photographer was up on a balcony above us. It makes me laugh every time I see it!

There is a very famous barn in our town, and my friends’ engagement photo, which they used for the Save-The-Date Cards, was them running away from the barn, him with a bucket of paint and paint on his arm, and her with a paint brush.  Then they photoshopped a big heart, with “John + Jane” on the side of the bar.  It was probably the cutest thing I’ve seen.

@Robin_Sparkles:  So cool!

Our photographer Natasha Jahangir had the great idea of having us incorporate post-its into our e-shoot.  This silly, spontaneous one ended up being our Save the Date:

We also incorporated where we met (Starbucks!) into our shoot – I think it is fun way to personalize it 🙂
