I don’t see anything wrong with the setting from a pracitcal standpoint. It may look high in the photo, but it isn’t any higher than most classic solitaires or cathedrals, so I don’t think you would have any issue wearing it comfortably. Aesthetically, I prefer it with the round stone, but that may be because that photo is better.

That said, I don’t believe in asking other’s opinions about whether they LIKE a ring, especially when it comes to choosing an engagement ring. Get what you love! You will be the one looking at it when WB or its members are long gone, so don’t let the opinions of others get you down. This site, and people in general, tends to run fairly classic in ring opinions.

Not something I would pick….but it’s your ring, if you love it and it makes you smile then go for it. You have to get a ring you love, it shouldn’t matter what other people think.

I love it with the round stone as opposed to the heart shaped centre. I think it’s gorgeous and I always have a soft spot for unique rings. This one really stands out and I really love it.

I love it with the round stone! I like floral looking rings.

I like the round better. The heart shape gets lost in the setting.

If you love it, that’s all that matters.

If you love it, then get it! I don’t think it’s an out-there design that you’d regret.

I do prefer the round stone over the heart shape.

Heart rings are one of my favorites! So naturally I love it.

I don’t think there’s anything not practical about it. I like it better with the round stone, the heart one doesn’t stand out as much.

Nocturne:  Well personally I like it, but it could be because it kinda reminds me of my ring. Lol! Only my little shapes on the side go out, not in like yours. But I do agree with a PP that you can’t ask if people like it because eeeeeeveryone has different tastes. Now put it up with a couple others, that’s different. Having said that I way prefer the round. Hearts just seem too “high school my boyfriend really really likes me” to me.

if you love it, that is all that matters.

the only issue i see with it is in the 3rd photo.  it looks like things(shirts, sweaters, hair) could get caught in that gap.

I think it is pretty. I kind of like with with the heart a little more.

I think it’s very pretty and feminine, but I could see the marquise diamonds on the side snagging on hair, shirts etc. The pictures instantly made me thing if the Willow ring from brilliant earth, which has a similar feel to it but without the pieces that stick out, which may make it less likely to get caught on things (at least from what I can tell).

Nocturne:  I love it!! I think it’s beautiful. I’ve always had a soft spot for heart-shaped diamonds. 🙂
