We did a guest book alternative where we asked for people’s favorite memory they shared with us. They then clipped them to ribbon using clothes pins. It was so much fun reading the responses.

I love the idea of asking the guests questions, but I think it gets a little complicated when you start asking them to seal and sign and glue things in addition to signing a picture mat too.

The easier the better when it comes to guest participation!

Maybe you can make the guestbook with the envelopes already attached, and people can just find an empty one and slide their card in.

Like this $80 guestbook that I’m sure you could DIY for much less:

alot of people are doing the rocks with paint pens and they write there name on one side and a little advise on the other, or no name at all.  then you can put in a nice little bowl for display.  i think people really like that idea too.
