We’ll be doing a DIY photobooth if all goes well, where guests can write messages too. That said, I saw one wedding where they had postcards. Guests each filled out a postcard and the MOB sent them to the couple throughout the next year. So cute!

There are some great ideas here! We are doing the photobooth scrapbook. Our wedding is themed around photos so it fits right in. Good luck!

has anyone mentioned postcard or business-cards for guests to write on?  I’ve seen those here on the Bee….

We had a thumbprint tree (hubby drew it) and a signature woodslice on the guestbook table…  but we also had well wishing cards on the guests’ tables with colored pencils, so they could take their time writing or drawing their thoughts.  The tree and woodslice filled up nicely… and we got a great response on the well wishing cards.

We actually purchased a small vintage ivory colored end table and I’m going to paint on our monogram in the center and have everyone sign the table.  It’s something that we can look at all the time, while also having it as a part of our home =]

I took pictures of places that spelled out our last name and a small engagement photo then had guests sign the mat.

We are going to be having people sign a Adarondack chair. Then when it is all done we will keep it inside. We will be able to see the well wishes every day and use it. We will probably put a clear gloss over it so it doesn’t fade or smudge.

I havent read all the comments on this thread yet, but I dont think anyone has mentioned this yet… Me and my FH are getting married in Cuba on the beach and to keep with the theme we are getting a large hurricane vase and going to have a basket of flat rocks for people to sign. Then put the rocks in the hurricane glass. LOVE this isde. and keep it.

@TankIsCute – those are GORGEOUS! I like that she uses vintage material and custom makes them. Thanks for the tip!

@ddavila2001 no prob and Karen is super helpful if your looking for something imperticular she will keep an eye out for it while she shops in France but since she is so far away you kind of have to make sure you leave enough time for her to make it, which takes about a month and then to ship it but they are soo awsome and diffrent that I think i will always want it to be left out so people can see it
