I’ve seen several “photo frame guestbooks”

I know it’s not super unique but it is something you can actually use.

Also, I’ve seen postcard guestbooks where everyone writes a message on a postcard and then puts it in a “mail box”

Or, a typerwriter is left out, everyone types something (could get crowded if you have a lot of people)

Google either of these ideas and there are tons of examples

We used a coffee table book of our favorite photographer’s work.  Guests had a little sign telling them to find their favorite picture.  It’s awesome and something we actually use – we love looking at the photography, plus having our friends and family’s little notes is a big plus.

We are sort of combining the photo booth idea and a guestbook. When guests enter the reception, we will have a station with a backdrop and silly props, and one of our ushers will snap a polaroid of each group. The polaroid photo will then be stuck in the center of one of the pages in our “guestbook” (a scrap book) and guests can sign their well wishes and their names around the picture.  think it will be fun to look at afterward!

I’ve seen ones where the table number is a notebook & then on the front it say something like “leave a message for us to read on our [table number] year anniversary”.  i think it’s a pretty cute idea

@Ashley_B:  I’m doing something similar.  I’m putting out journaling cards and having people write messages on them.  Then I’m putting those cards in my wedding scrapbook.

We’re doing a guestbook platter. I’m planning on drawing the exterior of our venue on the plate and having everyone sign around it.

We did vintage postcards- we had enough for each couple/family and asked guests to write a message on the back and then we put them in a frame. Why I liked the idea is because guests could take their time at their tables to write their messages and I can mix up the picture in the frame over the years- sometimes having the pictures showing, sometimes having the messages or a mix of both.

My fiance and I are doing wine bottle guestbooks. Our guests sign these wine bottles, and on the anniversary years (1, 5, 10, 20) we open the wine, read the messages and drink. =]
