I’m looking for an industiral chic wedding venue (reception only). I feel like the “steel city” has gotta have one of these but not having any luck finding one.
Need a wedding venue that can fit 250 people seated.
Here’s an example
Here are some places we found that couldn’t meet our capacity:
* http://www.enginehouse25.com/rental — 150 max
* Lexus Club we’re emailing with now…
* J Verno Studios is super contemporary but someone else might like it…
* senator john heinz history center looks good but expensive

Good luck! We looked really hard to find our similar styled venue for our speakeasy themed reception.

I’ve heard the Heinz History Center and the Andy Warhol are kind of like that but they are pricey. I’m trying to think of another place a former client of mine’s daughter had her reception in. If i can think of it I will come back and post. It was a loft, I think. And I want to say that it was two men that owned it and allowed you to pretty much do whatever you wanted to the space. Maybe Im making it up though, because it was years and years ago…

Pittsburgh Opera House is exactly what you’re looking for. In fact, I thought that was a picture of the Opera House at first.

Try the New Hazlett Theater. They have a great exposed brick, catwalk theater space for weddings.
