I’m looking to get married next August or september 2016. Never thought I’d get married and a traditional venue isn’t really my style (although I love attending others!). We’ve been looking at conservation areas, cottages etc. and want something ‘different’ but have had no luck yet. We’ll probably have 150 people. I just want somewhere pretty and outdoorsy like a tree farm or something.
If you have any general venue ideas of types of places I should consider, or specific names of places I would really appreciate it. Pretty much anywhere in Ontario except north of Muskoka, east of prince edward county and west of London.
thanks so much, I really look forward to gettign some ideas from all of you:)

- Wedding: July 2015 - Carmen\'s Lakeview
We got married at Carmens Lakeview in Hamilton. They aren’t “outdoorsy” but definitely affordable! Plus they do linens, centrepieces, set up, clean up, etc. They also have their own lists of bakers, photographers, DJ, limo, etc. It’s right on the lake too!

McMichael – traditional but different and woodsy
Viamede – Stoney Lake
University of Guelph Arboretum
Evergreen Brickworks (pricey but really different)

We are getting married at a venue called :the clearing” in Shedden. It is a little West of London but a beautiful place!
It is an open area in a forest type area off of a family farm.
We are also not the typical church and venue people and we fell in love with it!
