I have not yet figured out hotel arrangements. I would prefer to stay in center city but we will see. Also I am considering renting busses as well since my date is on NYE and so many people drink then. And I agree…Elkins is AMAZING! Here are some pics for those who don’t know what it looks like.

I’m getting married at the Please Touch Museum next September. We’ll be having our ceremony in the Carousel House and the Reception in the main lobby.

@Little Lulu: I am just recently engaged and fell in love with the Please Touch Museum! I am planning to call/look into details within the next week. What does the pricing look like? Any input would be great!

@littlemisslinds: We had our wedding there this past September and it was incredible. The venue, the service, the food….everything was wonderful. Our guests raved about it and we all had the best time.  I would highly recommend the Museum and Max and Me (their in house caterer.) That being said, I booked them back in the middle of 2009. I know their prices and packages have changed significantly since then at least once. I’d hate to give you info that’s totally inaccurate. I will go through my files when I get home and see which packages I have as they offered several…but like I said, they’re probably pretty different. I can PM you with the info.

I am having my wedding there next Sunday-we booked it 2 years ago and the prices and rules have all increased since then, but Kelly is GREAT to work with.

Hi, guys!!! I am getting married in this summer july and I was wondering if my wedding something like happened in unusual way. I am searching for best unusual wedding venues like cruise ship  or aquarium museum which they can arrange in  it for my unusual wedding. I have talked to my fiancé and she agreed on doing it in different way.

@johnnyfreud786:  I’ve been using Partyspace.com to find cool venues – like the Mutter Museum or Aquarium.

I’m thinking of getting married somewhere unusual too. Maybe even a concert venue like World Cafe.
