I love this song.  I’ve thought about walking down the aisle to it, but I’m actually getting married IN Paris and I think it might seem too "touristy", if that makes any sense.

While I’ve settled on walking down to "plainsong" by The Cure, i’ve also thought about swapping that with something else by Yann Tiersen.  I love his work.

Maybe this:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pv_znFyR4Dg&feature=related

What about this one for you?

On a different note, if you enjoy Yann Tiersen, you might like his CD with Shannon Wright.  I love this, but her voice also comes across as very sad:

I hope to walk down the aisle to "Dawn" from Pride and Prejudice.  Jenniphyr, love "Rose" from Titanic!

I thought about the instrumental version of "Can’t Help Falling In Love" by Elvis Presley. Here’s a link

Somebody gave my Dad a wedding cd and he played the Bridal Chorus for me. I kinda whined and said "But I don’t want that. Everybody does that." LOL

I think you can walk down to whatever you want. My friend, whose wedding I’m in two months from now, is walking down to Rent’s "I’ll Cover You" and the bridal party (me included -yikes!) will be singing it as we walk down the aisle! I think that if you like it and it’s personal to you then it’ll be great!

that amelie song sounds nice:)

my wedding party walked down the aisle to music my husband arranged and recorded-the song was ‘unchained melody’

i walked down the aisle to a song my husband wrote for me (and recorded).  it was a part from a piano suite he wrote for me.

all of the music involved with the ceremony was music he either wrote and recorded or arranged and recorded for piano.

I’m thinking of doing something unique too (haven’t decided exactly what yet). It seems like every wedding I go to has trumpet voluntary or canon in D (Which I LOVE but I want something different).

I love the Vitamin String Quartet’s version of "Never Think" from Twilight.

WOW I never thought anyone else would consider this song but I plan to walk down the isle to "Latika’s Theme" – I have to come down a set of steps then walk through a garden. I don’t think it’s too slow, I just hope I get to the alter by the time it finishes! It’s also great because I’m of Indian decent
