Sooo the search has begun. And honestly I’m a bit dishearted. My fiance and i love are not the crystal chandalier, ugly carpet adn matching wallpaper type. We are trying to find a reception venue that suits our low key and down to earth nature but are just blown away by these 1960, 70 and 80 ballrooms.
We live near Princeton, our friends live all over, and our families, rather our parents, live in Middlesec Co. We love the Stone House – its just our style with the open wood beams, outdoor fire pits, and home grown produce but the price is a bit high. Anyone have suggestions?
We looked at Perona Farms.. 1) way too far, 2) we didnt fall in love with the wallpaper or baseboard heating. And its a bit of a hike too.
Weve seen a ton of places that look super cool, but out expected party of 150 is just a little too big. We are l;ooking for a summer wedding 2012 – outside tented receptions sound great, but my other half is opposed – JErsey summers can get a bit hot and uncomfortable.
Any ideas? Help. Please.
