It’s all about the time period in which it was made.
Edwardian: 1901 – 1910
Art Deco: 1920 – 1935.
Yours does look more like an art deco ring to me as that’s when they started getting a lot more flamboyant in the flapper years! Certainly whenever I’ve seen a ring like yours it’s always been art deco, especially when set in a white metal. However, it may well be Edwardian, I’m no expert. Where did you buy it? Are you in the US? UK here, pleasure to meet you 🙂
