I’m guessing Laura must be a kid (lucky!) Unless my name was Angie, I would have ended up at the wrong table! :)-

Really cute idea, though…too bad it would be confusing after cocktail hour was up!

If Stewart isn’t an algebra teacher, here’s hoping he owns a smartphone. Googling logs at a wedding, my kind of party.

Oh hell no! There had better be a key for that thing.

When we debated doing a larger wedding at a presidential estate, I told my guy that I wanted to use standard table numbers. However, I wanted the escort cards to have the related constitutional amendment on them instead of the number. 🙂

Even better, we would have seated people at amendments related to them to the best of our ability. For example, I have some friends who are lobbyists, so they would have been at Table 1 (petition the government) since they all know each other anyway. It would have taken quite an effort to avoid sitting my SIL who looks down on drinkers at Table 18. Yeah, I’m kinda bad like that.

I would guess that some of these guests, Stewart, Onil, Ken might also be in mathematics. At a real wedding this might just be annoying to a bunch of guests who have been at cocktail hour.

Fun! I love it! I wonder if riddles would work for a seating chart? I love unique seating chart ideas!

@Meowkers: What if it’s not a mistake? Stewart could be a popular guy who will be welcomed at many tables. 🙂

@Meowkers:  That’s actually HILARIOUS. Makes me think that Stewart is both a close friend AND a mathematician and they’re having a bit of fun at his expense.

I’d be dead in the water with this seating chart. Unless I was Laura. I could be Laura.
