Most of my guests are from out of town, and most of those have never been to Seattle. I’m looking for some unique seattle favor….I debated coffee but then I have to consider the non-coffee drinkers…
any ideas?? Thanks!

Bottles of rain tied with a pretty ribbon?
haha… maybe the sun will return someday…
Maybe tea? Many coffee drinkers drink tea too. I can’t think of anything specific, but maybe Pike Place Market would have something fun?

There is this cool gourmet popcorn place on Pike called KuKuRuZa http://www.kukuruza.com/home.php?xid=355e6c07ed51d538092d495d61713136
Or you can do Jone’s Soda Pop since it is made here.
You can do mini doughnuts from Top Pot.
I like the coffee beans and tea idea too. Zoka Coffee has large bags of loose tea.
Mini bottles of wine from a local winery.
Or chocolates from Theo’s.
That is all I can think of, good luck!

Lots of options! Looks like @Bellum10 gave some good suggestions. Let’s see, what else:
Cherries in baskets or cute little paper bags/ chocolate covered cherries
Tim’s Potato Chips (maybe a combo of that and the Jones Sodas??)
Bulbs or seeds or plants – the NW is known for the gorgeous outdoors, so that would be fitting! Tulips from the Skagit Valley, wildflower seeds. Etc.
Apples/ Caramel or candy apples (HAHA!!!)/ apple chips/ apple something – since they’re such a huge part of the agriculture in WA
Local jam/ honey/ wine

mmm Top Pot! You all are making me homesick!
Chukkar cherries are a bit pricey, but work with the cherry suggestion. I’d also put in a shout out for Fran’s Salted Caramels!
Man, now I really miss home!

Thanks guys! These are also giving me some ideas for the Out of Town bags.
I was thinking of something non-edible, since we’ll have a dessert bar..I don’t want to load up on more food…but can’t reallly think of anything like that.
I like the mini donuts idea too…maybe from that place in the market?
I priced theo chocolates (YUM!) but slightly out of the price range..
