Bee Keeper

This was for a beach wedding, but the chairs were originally brown that we painted ivory. I made simple cardstock cards I edged with turquoise paint and tied on with a piece of raffia. Wouldn’t work for you in Vermont, but they could if you placed them in a wooden tray of fake snow or moss. 🙂

Not sure how unique it is, but I opted for a large frame, I covered it with fabric and I hung the escort cards from ribbons. I displayed the large frame on an easel.

The area I wanted to have the escort cards located in was small and I did not have enough room to accomodate a large table.

I know I have a better picture of the finished product somewhere but can’t find it right now >.>

We’re having a fall themed wedding so this probably won’t help you but I’d thought I’d share anyways. This is how we’re displaying our escort cards…

I just came up with this LAST NIGHT!! 🙂

I might change it, but right now I love it.

I’m going to get some oasis, or paint a foam tree or something like that.

And my escort cards will be LOLLIPOPS. They will have one tape tag with the name of their table, and the other with the name of the person. They will be in “rows” in alpha order, but it should look like a good old carnival lollipop tree!

As i type this, I wonder if I should make a red mark at the bottom of one lollipop per table for people to “WIN” the centerpiece flowers. Hrmm.

PS Love the pics and the thread. Those CHAIR chair cards and awesome!

My grandpa is a bee keeper, so we are having honey favors with honey from his farm. So, we are doing this for escort cards. Maybe if you give us a little bit of an idea about the theme of your wedding, we could help you come up with a unique idea that would work for you!
