Hi Bees this is the first time I post here and hope you guys can help me. I got engaged this past april to my amazing fiance, he did a great job. I want to give him an engagement ring but I need ideas of how to give it to him in a special way not just like any other gift. We are both 24 , he likes video games , sports , is into engeneering , likes comic books and all awesome dorky stuff 🙂 So please Bees if you have any ideas share them with me. Thank you! ( English is not my first language I’m sorry if there are any spelling errors)

I actually bought my guy’s ring before he got mine, and the day we got engaged I did a simple “counter-proposal” after he had done his. If he’s into nerd stuff, you could give it to him in a Pokeball or inside a copy of Lord of the Rings.

When my fiance and I went to go pick up my engagement ring he looked over at the mens rings and asked if he gets one too! I thought it was so great! I said, “absolutely!!” He picked out the one he wanted and has worn it everyday and plans for it to be his wedding band as well!
Did you get the ring already? Maybe you can take him out for a special lunch near the store you want to get it from and surprise him by letting him pick it out? Just a thought!
Or if you did get the ring already, maybe get him a new game and put the ring in that box along with the game? If he is a Blizzard fan, maybe get the new Overwatch game! Again..just a thought!

You could keep it really simple by doing what I call the “guy version” of the putting-ring-in-champagne-glass. Which is putting it around the bottleneck of his favorite beer/whiskey/whatever.

Your Fiance sounds like my own partner. I think it would be sweet do you it during any conventions you could arrange to attend, that way you get your own little getaway to celebrate together!

I loooove the idea of giving it to him inside of a pokeball, haha. My guy doesn’t want an engagement ring.. but I think maybe I will prepare some kind of engagement gift for him inside a pokeball, for a counter-proposal. He is nerdy and obsessed with pokemon haha 😛
