@bowsergirl: Pine garlands around the ceiling, if you use fresh pine (which I would recommend) they will make the room smell amazing. Use purple and silver ribbon etc to make it your own. Also, maybe a snow cone machine (if it’s an informal vibe) with blackcurrent and maybe vanilla or baileys or something?

I may be a little pic crazy but I love winter and I am sooo excited to be marrying the man of my dreams so here is some tidbits of my winter wedding ideas. My wedding colors are black, ivory and cobalt blue.
I got branches very similar to these at save-on-crafts.com.
I got these for DH. I saw on etsy this cute sock wrapper about getting cold feet. I am going to send those to him with another small gift the day of our wedding.
I got all the BMs these fur wraps at LITB.
I also get them all these necklaces.
These are their dresses.
Ring bearer pillow.
Best cake topper ever imho. I wanted something to represent Fiance, Me and my son but not the typical 3 people or people like toppers. This was perfect. And its winter-y looking.
Seating card holder… is also a Xmas ornament. They are about the size of a larger apricot. They are perfect!
GM’s Shoes (They are convereses!!)
Groom and RB’s Shoes (Converses!!)

I was planning on a winter wedding at first, so I have a bunch of ideas. The pictures are all on my Pinterest account though. Some ideas…
– hot chocolate bar (could include Baileys, Kahlua, etc.)
– getting pictures taken on a ski hill, skating ring, toboggan hill, etc.
– Uggs in your wedding colour
– Christmas ornaments (like tree baubles) in a vase with Christmas lights as decoration
– Christmas favours (candy canes in your colours!)
– Pine cones as decoration (can spray paint them or put glitter on them)

@Barika: I love the sleeves on the cup. where did you get those?
@echolove: Thanks they were one of my favorite things! :). They were a DIY project. I bought a chunk of fabric for $30 and the buttons were a buck for a package. All the supplies came to $60 and I made 120. I used a starbucks coffee sleeve as a pattern and finished the raw cut edge with a funky patterned stitch from my machine. They were alot of work but I enjoyed it.
There are tons of diy tutorials online as well as a few people who sell them made on Etsy.

@Barika: I looked them up online right after. lol. I seen that they sell for $8.50. So much cheaper to DIY. I will need about 60, not too bad. Thank you so much. It does look fun to make. I will definitly be doing these. But now I have to buy a sewing machine. lol

@Chaoslight: We are getting February 2014 instead of late 2013….consider this: It doesnt start getting lighter outside until End of December, so in February, at least you can get more daylight to be able to have some nice pictures outside!

Have you thought of using an alternative bouquet? My husband and I are renewing our vows with a winter ceremony and I purchased a snowflake bouquet from Ky Kampfeld on etsy. It’s beautiful and she gave me a boutonniere to match for free.
This is a top view of the bouquet.
We chose the boutoniere on the left to match
