I realize that most people won’t use something from a wedding b/c it has someone else’s names/dates on it, I’m trying to fix that problem by having something that is ACTUALLY functional (friends of mine did juice glasses). I know that food is probably the cheapest (and sometimes easiest) way to go so I may cave if I can’t find/afford anything else.
I know that some people consider favors a waste of money but I also think it’s nice for the couple to give SOMETHING to say “thank you for sharing this special day with us, traveling (sometimes) a long distance, getting all dressed up, giving us a gift/and or money, etc, etc”
But thanks for all of the suggestions. All of the links and what not led me to favorfavor.com where they have little mini notebooks for, like 79 cents a piece … AND ONE OF THEIR DESIGNS IS A PENGUIN BRIDE & GROOM!!!!! I almost cried tears of happiness when I saw that! LOL
So even though people may not go for the whole cutesy penguin thing, they can rip off the cover and use the paper for something at the very least. hahaha

Could you add cute penguin themed bags to the cookie area for people to take some home if they wanted…and count that as your favor? You could even add penguin shaped cookies, or give penguin cookie cutters…
