OMG! I am LOVIN’ this thread. So many gorgeous color stones! Here’s my engagement ring, a round yellow sapphire with princess cut diamond accents.

And here is the yellow sapphire band I ordered to go with it. I can’t wait to see these rings together!!!

@hiroshymatetrastar:  Morganite is beryl, so same as an emerald.  So, IMO, too soft for an ering.  It will get chipped wwith daily wear.  However, it is cheaper than emerald, so not totally inplausible to replace every 5 years or so, if your stone becomes damaged.  I am not sure what makes Morganite pink or peachy coloured though.
