My husband and I did a wine ceremony as well as a wine box with love letters. We got so many comments on it. Our guests really enjoyed it!!

We also did the Wine Ceremony. We loved it, and I look forward to having hand written love letters to look back on.

– i’ve seen a thing online where you mix something like glass chips during the ceremony and send it to the manufacturer and they make a glass thing out of it. Kind of expensive though. https://www.unityinglass.com/
– I’ve also seen online the one where they plant a seedling, i think with soils from their parents house or their hometowns.
– Also putting sand into an hourglass : https://www.pinterest.com/pin/39688040440526114/
– Painting a canvas together

We just did the candle. We used brass candle sticks he made in school and a piller we got on sale. We will relight the candle on our anniversaries

My friend and her husband had a wine box at their wedding. TBH, I thought the ceremony and box behind them at the altar was pretty awkward, as the box looked like a coffin. It’s a sweet idea if you visualize how you’ll incorporate it into the ceremony. My friend told me over the years they’ve been adding notes and ticket stubs to the box so when they open it, they’ll have all these memories of dates and romance to look back on!

tlane95 :  My fiancé and I plan to have a sand unity ceremony, and we are using mason jars since our wedding is rustic themed!
