We really want to have a special “unity” part to the ceremony, but I’m stearing away from the common unity sand (combining the two colors of sand). I want something simple and sentimental but not too weird/cheesy/complicated. Any suggestions please?
Also- we like the idea of it being something we can keep afterward.

What are your hobbies, favorite moments, shared common interest? Do something meaningfull to you. Our dogs are named Whiskey and Wino so we are doing a whiskey and wine ceremony
there are a bunch of threads on this if you are still stuck

We’re doing a quaich ceremony- drinking from the same cup. It’s a Scottish tradition and my mom bought us a beautiful pewter quaich that we can keep afterwards. But you could get any kind of fancy cup or glass for a wine or other drink ceremony.

One of my new favorite things is Unity In Glass. You pick your wedding colors and they send you glass crystals in your colors. You combine them like a regular sand ceremony then send them off to the company and they make you a hand blown glass item with the crystals! I think right now they have vases, bowls, and a sculpture. They’re kinda pricey but the results are gorgeous!

We did unity paint. We each had a color and poured it on the canvas ar the same time and then mixed it around a bit. Here is our practice picture. It’s not a great picture but you get the idea

We are doing a unity heart. Even if you aren’t religious, you can use one. We ordered ours from Hobby Lobby and it was so much cheaper. I love that it is a sculpture we can put on display.
