Has anyone done the Unity Cross instead of sand, or the candle? I am doing this for my Ceremony, and I am not sure how to go about doing it. I know that with the sand and candles, the parents take turns lighting or pouring, but with the cross I am wondering how it could be done. Also, did you include a description of it in your programs or did your officiant say something?

i never heard of this but it is a beautiful thing to add to a cermony! I just watched a youtube video on it and maybe your officiant can basically describe what the parts of the Unity Cross is about as you do it. Or just have the description in the program and just play music during that part of you cermony.
Good Luck with your choice!

@fabchase1: I used one in my wedding. I believe there is a script included for the officiant and the vendor includes free cards for you to give your guests with your program. I just placed them on the seats at the ceremony instead of in the programs.
I loved the Unity Cross. It was unique and yet still beautiful. We got so many compliments on it. And now it sits on our dresser in our bedroom. Everytime I see it, I think of our wedding.

I am so excited to use it! I love new stuff and I haven’t been a fan of the candle or sand, so when I found this I was so excited! I ordered mine from exclusivley weddings, and there wasn’t any scripts or anything that came with it. I copied the card wording and put it in my program. Do you know where I could find the script for my preacher? Thanks so much for the help everyone!
