SO I’m not having a wedding “party”…LONG story. But my aunt and best friend are taking care of my bachelorette party and bridal shower and would have been my Maid and Matron of honor so I bought them a gift. After several months of thinking and deciding, I got them a monogram necklace with their initials. It’s SUPPOSED to be a key but after looking at them for a while they kind of look like a penis. UGGGGGHHHH so I’m not sure if I should take them to a jewelry store locally and see if they can fix it by taking of the heart (head) LOL I ordered them from Etsy and they are personalized so its not like I can ask for a penis return…Or should I just give it to them and let them wear the penis around their necks?
This is the picture from Etsy…

Oh no! I think I would see if the heart can be removed as well.

hahaha this is too funny!! but i honestly dont think it does!

Hahaha I’m sorry, but I think this is going to make for a good story later. “Remember those penis necklaces I bought?” Removing the heart should solve the problem though, but I think they’d be even nicer if they were just the initials.

plpinkinsa2001: I. CANNOT. STOP. LAUGHING. I’m sorry!!!
See if you can’t get the head/heart removed. Oddly enough, I plan on getting one of my maids the same thing (sans penis), just the round monogram. My Maid/Matron of Honor already has one and my other part member is a guy so they’re all getting something different.

I feel that this is a question that answers itself.

I wouldn’t have thought of that if you didn’t mention it, but yeah I’d try to get the tip (sorry, I couldn’t resist) removed.

Wow! It really does resemble a penis. Honestly, I think it would look great without the key part altogether so if you can get the heart removed or the whole key part removed you should do it. Good luck with those penises LOL

BAHAHAHA I can’t stop laughing.

If you take the heart off, it’s going to look really weird. If the entire key part can be removed, that would be an option, otherwise, I’d totally laugh it off and make fun of myself for gifting my friends with pretty penis necklaces.

SO funny! I am sorry, but that is priceless!! I’d remove the entire key – or just give it to them and let them enjoy the joke.

plpinkinsa2001: Leave the heart. They may not notice it, but if/when they do at least you have a fun memory.

plpinkinsa2001: hilarious! I never would have thought of it if you didn’t say it though.
I agree with OldMrsMcDonald: that they might look weird without the heart. I’d go with just the monogram or give them to them as is and just don’t point it out (alternately, you can point it out and see what they want to do)
I’d wear it, I don’t think it looks THAT much like a penis.
