@irishphoenix: I will be having an unplugged ceremony. Guests (which will be family only) will be asked to not take pictures. I am allowing one guest (his son) to get behind the scene shots, mostly pics of our photographer working. I know it is kind of strange but I have seen where this girl will go to get the shot…..and is reason I selected her.
But if I was asked to not take pictures I would definitely respect that request. I have seen pics where guests have their iphones and ipads held up in pictures, and I don’t care for it much. Professional pics look nicer without having obstacles to shoot around.
ETA…..his son will ONLY be taking behind the scene pics at the ceremony. He will not be taking pics of the bride and groom. After the ceremony take all the pics you want. I don’t think it is rude at all for a bride and groom to request no pictures. A photographer is a very expensive purchase……
