You're not the boss of me, I'll take pictures of you eating and upload them to facebook if I want to

I'd take some discreet shots when no one was looking

I'd put my camera away and respect the request

@irishphoenix:  I will be having an unplugged ceremony.  Guests (which will be family only) will be asked to not take pictures.  I am allowing one guest (his son) to get behind the scene shots, mostly pics of our photographer working.  I know it is kind of strange but I have seen where this girl will go to get the shot…..and is reason I selected her.

But if I was asked to not take pictures I would definitely respect that request.  I have seen pics where guests have their iphones and ipads held up in pictures, and I don’t care for it much.  Professional pics look nicer without having obstacles to shoot around.

ETA…..his son will ONLY be taking behind the scene pics at the ceremony.  He will not be taking pics of the bride and groom.  After the ceremony take all the pics you want.  I don’t think it is rude at all for a bride and groom to request no pictures.  A photographer is a very expensive purchase……

What type of idiot guest is getting ip during a ceremony to take pics? I took all kinds of pictures of my cousins ceremony… from my seat like a normal person. Im pretty sure the bride and groom were so gocused on eachother they wouldnt have noticed if people were fruit ninjas. I think being a younger bride I have hrown up with cell phone dependancy so I would never consider an unplugged wedding. My loved ones came. Yhey are present. I would be put off by yhe request because I would feel distrusted to not be an asshole.
