duchessgummybunns :  OK, I love Panera, but this is kind of funny. So, I’ve long loved their bacon turkey bravo sandwich, largely because of the bread and the spread, which they say (at least when it first came out in the early 2000s) that it is a “secret” recipe. So, about 5 years ago, I’m at my mom’s house for lunch, and she’s made a salad and the only dressing she has is 1000 island, which I’d never tried. But whatever, I’m game. Well, spoiler alert, the “secret” spread is 1000 Island dressing. Bastards. You don’t see McDonalds trying to hide their condiment secrets.

alfalfasprout10518 :  I have mentioned this from similar previous threads but pizza or Italian Food in general (in the US).  Don’t get me wrong, I eat it but if there’s absolutely  no other choice available. I don’t get why many people get all excited when ordering pizza. Most people think I’m weird or crazy. I’m used to it.

Carbonated ANYTHING!  Drinking carbonated beverages is so painful.  I have no idea why anyone would volunteer herself for this kind of torture!  The only time it’s tolerable is when it’s mixed into an alcoholic beverage because, at that point, the benefit outweighs the cost!

Zucchini. and yellow squash. I HATE THEM. I’m a vegetarian, and I feel like all vegetarian dishes at restaurants & stuff have summer squash medley in them. Whyyyy.

Tatum :  McD’s used to keep it secret!! I’m old enough to remember their commercial jingle:

Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun!

alfalfasprout10518 :  I’m with you on lobster and shrimp. I have a rule about not eating anything with more than 4 legs and all sea creatures apply except for squid. I love calamari fritti. My husband is also allergic to crustaceans so that’s extra incentive to stay away.

morethanyesterday :  I hate avocadoes! The texture grosses me out. I can only eat it if it’s made into a spread (and thinly spread on something). As a rule I just stay away.

My own unpopular opinion is on kimchee. My husband loves it and it’s his preferred way to get extra probiotics, but the smell of it makes me want to throw up instantly. He doesn’t eat it when I’m home because I can smell it a mile away. I like my stinky foods too (boiled eggs, fish, etc.) but nothing that he doesn’t eat too or sends him running in the other direction.

Eggplant/aubergine – foul stuff no matter how it is cooked.

Perogees – boiled pastry? Mmm taste and texture just like playdoh. I have had it lots of different ways but still yuk.

Store bought packaged cookies all seem to have an artificial chemically taste to me.

Anything ” watermelon” flavoured.
