I work with college students, and I’m astounded by what I get.  Yes, it can be ridiculous!

Yeah, I definitely have a “professional/school” email and a random email for silly stuff.

Hmm…being that I’m in the middle of an aggressive job hunt, do you think mine is unprofessional: my three initials, and the month and date of my birth.  For example: [email protected].  Should I change it to [email protected]?

My job entails working with the general public, sort of.  We have to recruit owners of our cars to bring them here for some testing.  We have a good laugh at a lot of the emails people put on their response forms!  “pimpgma” was the best.  My assistant said she was a pretty pimp grandma.

@MrsDrRose612:  My “professional” email is my last name and the last two digits of the year I was born.

My brother tried to apply with an email with ‘420’ in it.  *shakes head*

when i was hiring assistants at my old job i actually got a resume for [name][email protected]

bongs??? really?? thongs??? really really???

i pushed for bringing her in out of curiousity, but sadly i never did get the chance to discuss how her bong rocking skills may help her in the position or what her time rocking thongs could bring to the company… bummer

@Eight6Eleven:  Hey now.  I was born in 1969, and it’s not my fault that my parents were hippies who named me Sparkly Sunshine.  “Gal” is a very common last name in Poland.  How dare you insult my professional email address!
