I apologize ahead of time for the lack of photos. I had my hair and make up trial yesterday. I went there excited to see the transformation, but felt a little disappointed afterward. I’m just thinking that my hair is a bit structured for my dress and the rustic, vintage wedding we’re having in less than a month, and I feel like my eye make-up needs to be toned-down quite a bit. I guess being a person who doesn’t wear much make up, I felt a little overdone. What do you all think? Suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance!

I think your eyemakeup is perfect! Maybe make your lips a little brighter?

Your eyes are simply stunning! Love them!
Your lips are too pale and your hair is so-so… More curls?

and hair is pretty but seems likey every day style

Actually, in the pictures, the eye makeup looks perfect. Your cheeks and lips could use more color, though.
The hair could use some (lots) more curls.

Eyes look great. More blush. Darker lips. Hair looks nice for a down hairdo – are you doing a veil?

eyes look great. i think you need more colour on lips.
i’m not sure how you want your hair to look but maybe some more curls.

@out4answers: Thanks. I really wanted a nude lip, because I just don’t like the way I look with brighter colors. Maybe it would be better if she could add a slightly darker color in a few areas and blend it to make my lips look more defined?
@happyface: Thank you! That means a lot. I’m just unsure about the eye make up, because it’s a bit out of my comfort zone. I was thinking my lips wouldn’t look so pale if the eyes were toned down a bit.

I think the eye makeup looks great in the pics, but I also think it’s important to feel comfortable with your “in person” look too. Maybe you could try some false lashes instead of the heavy eyeliner? That’s what I did and was very happy with the results.

I love your makeup! I actually really like the nude lips, I feel with any stronger lip or cheek colour, you would REALLY feel overdone. Keep it as-is.
I can’t tell much about the hair, though.

I agree about the eyes being perfect – on the day-of it will show up best in pictures. Definitely more cheek and lip color. It doesn’t have to be dark, just slightly darker for the lips.
Your hair doesn’t look too structured to me, it seems like it would fit your described venue/theme well.

I wanted my hair to have a wavy look, because I’m not into tight curls. I have a veil, but haven’t decided if I’m going to wear it or not. I was going for a natural look. I get what everyone is saying about the lips and cheeks. I will have to consider it. I’m just worried that I won’t feel like myself.

It looks nice but not wedding-y. I think it’s more like an everyday or semi-formal occasion look.

@Westwood: I definitely want to feel comfortable in-person. I actually don’t have eyeliner on, just lots of mascara. My lashes are naturally long and curl well. We tested false lashes out and they didn’t make a noticeable difference.

@Ivorybuttons: Thanks so much! Sorry there aren’t better photos of the hair.
