It’s your ring and you have to wear it.  I was going to get a simple band, with either no diamonds or a few chips, originally.  My grandma ended up giving me diamonds to use for my band, so I got a WAY blingier band than I ever intended, and while I love it, it’s definitely not something I would’ve chosen originally.  If you’re going to be happy with it, that’s the only thing that matters.

You have to wear it. So if that is what you want…then let your ering be your showcase! Personally…I think it will look great 🙂

I am getting a plain band.  I enjoy not choosing something because everyone else is choosing it and instead choosing what I like because I like it.

Honestly, you should go for what you like. I love my moms ring, I think it looks classic. She has her e-ring and plain band, and I think it just shows off her solitare ering. And now 35  years into my parents marriage, my mom still loves it.

one of my good friends has a stunning sparkly ering and a very plain band and I think it looks spectacular really plays off eachother to complete the look, plus we are nurses so its really convenient just to leave the ering at home to stop popping gloves with the rocks!

I’m a broke college student who is going for a plain metal band for obvious reasons. It’s still pretty common to have a plain band, and I actually quite like the look of a blingy e-ring/plain band combo! It looks very bridal.

I have a plain band! My ering has a diamond band and I tried on several diamond wedding bands and none of them felt right. The plain one looked best in my opinion. Since I love the stacked look, I think (hope) I might add a dainty diamond eternity band for my anniversary, and wear all three. I say go for it – I personally love the look.

Plain bands are beautiful, classic, and practical.  While the blingy stuff’s pretty, I can’t imagine wearing it every day, travelling with it, etc.
