Need help deciding if I should get a veil or not. I have mixed feelings because the top of my dress is very ornate, but the bottom is not. I love the mantilla veils, but I don’t want it to overpower the lace on my dress. And I’m not really crazy about a birdcage veil on me.
Any ideas would be appreciated! 🙂
Here is my dress:

look for a tulle veil that matches the skirt

I would go for an elbow or finger tip veil in tulle (like the pp suggested). I think all brides need a veil. It just completes the whole “bride” look. 🙂 It doesn’t have to be flashy, just something simple that won’t over power your beautiful dress.

I’d say no veil. Unless you’re set on one, you have loads of detail already! (I’m really not a fan of veils btw…)

I am doing a cathedral length veil for the ceremony only — I have detail on the top, but the train is just plain, so I wanted a veil with some detail for when I walk down the aisle 🙂

i think a simple cathedral/chapel length veil would be lovely.

i agree, a v. plain chapel veil would be perfect. You look absolutely stunning btw, congratulations! 🙂
