Mine picked one out with the infinity symbol on it in bright blue. He said he’d only get a plain band for work so he doesn’t damage this one.

I think it looks great– my Fiance wanted one at first too, unfortunately his job is too rough on his hands– something as soft as shells would get ruined.

My guy likes jewerly too and has been very picky with jewerly.  He’s not into color though so I’m trying to find a diamond band that he actually likes.

Yup, my husband has a pretty flashy ring. He really wanted an ammolite ring, but it is really quite delicate for daily wear.

This is what he ended up with (the ring at the top of the picture):

He LOVES his ring. He gets lots of compliments on it and often says how much he likes it even 2.5 years later. He always says he would get the exact same ring again if he lost his/something happened to it.

Yes, my fiance likes the ‘tough’ look and fell in love with this ring. I think it’s great!

@allyfally:  It was actually quite reasonable (under $900 as I recall). It was a stock item, but they remade it from scratch for his larger finger. I do not think they carry it anymore though, so if he does lose/damage it we will have to go custom I imagine, and yup it will likely be costly – but we could make a couple tweaks to it to make it even more ideal at least.

He was also looking at a couple LeVian rings at the time! One in particular, but I recall it was quite a bit above our budget. He saw a new one the other day at the mall and proclaimed his was better, ha ha.

@allyfally:  That ring is awesome! My fiance wouldn’t go for that though… he’s very simple and likes metals like tungsten carbide, titantium and such. He doesn’t like any designs really, he just wants it to look cool. lol.

I am curious about this… anyone else have interesting, nontraditional rings?

Oh my gosh that first one is gorgeous! My man has been loving these wooden inlaid bands from Minter & Richter on etsy(& I’ll admit they’re pretty swoonworthy to me as well)!
