I walked down the aisle to an instrumental of David Gray’s “This Year’s Love,” it was beautiful 🙂

“Baby Love Child” Pizzicato Five (from Leela’s Homeworld), although “I’m walking on sunshine” on the bagpipes was a close second.

@michiru4ever:  That’s awesome… I’ve always been obsessed with Eternity (it is in fact, the text tone on my phone… yes, I am that obsessed) It’s just pretty.. But it didn’t fit with our wedding

I want my girls to walk down to “Ho Hey” by the Lumineers and I will walk down the isle with my dad to “Can’t You See” by the Marshall Tucker Band. My dad used to rock me to sleep to that song when I was a baby so I can’t imagine walking to any other song. And then I want us to all walk out to “Home” by Edward Sharpe and the Magic Zeros.

I am probably going to walk down to Mozart’s Romance Movement from Eine Kleine Nacht Musik.

@elysion:  Thanks! I always loved the song when I first heard it, then I found that version and mind BLOWN. FH jokingly suggested it as the processional but after listening to it a few (thousand) times, we were sold.

@hiroshymatetrastar:  Just asked my FH and he told me the name of the song is Aerith’s Theme (piano version)which will be pretty perfect since it’s light, airy, and soft and we are getting married at a Victorian B&B under an Oak tree.

My fiance’s band mates are playing an acoustic version of Dead in Love, by Desert Sessions.  he put that on a mix tape for me, and I gave him a locket with the firate verse engraved on the cover, and zombie versions of us inside.  It was for him to take on tour with him so he could have me close.

*sigh*. 😉
