Hi there first off I’m not your “traditional” bride. I’m considering walking own the aisle alone (1. bc I come from a dysfunctional family so my parents are not invited to the wedding -though the rest of my family and sisters will be, 2. I don’t buy into the whole giving away the bride thing bc I find it to be too much of a patriachal system)
So my question is what do you think of this dress? Despite all that I still want a classy -but rather glamorous wedding. So tell me what you think of this dress -Do you think it is elegant enough for a wedding, or too prom/homecoming?
it’s sort of like a rose gold. What do you think for a non-traditional wedding dress?

Very pretty! I think that it’s in a neutral/metallic keeps it very bridal.

I love it!! I had a more traditional wedding dress (WToo Olivia in oatmeal) but I had a reception dress that looks like the dress you’ve shown, but short (so just like, if you chopped yours off mid-thigh). It was “technically” a homecoming dress I guess but I think it’s all in how you wear it. 😉
Go for it!

That’s a gorgeous dress! Your wedding, your dress – wear whatever you feel best in!

It’s lovely but for me it shows too much cleavage on the model. I’d probably think that for any event though 😉

DO YOU!!! I think it’s awesome.

I think it is for a black tie glamorous evening type event more than bridal. But that’s not a bad thing. The only thing I’d say is you can wear that to another function. You’ll only be doing ‘bridal’ the once but if you want this dress then go for it. You can still walk down the isle on your own or with your groom or whatever even in ‘tradional’ bridal looks.

I really like it, and it does strike me as in the ‘bridal’ realm – I definitely wouldn’t think it was a prom dress!
p.s. I love that you’re walking yourself down the aisle. When I eventually get married, my guy and I are planning to walk down the aisle together coming in and going out! 🙂

I say go for it!! I’m not your traditional bride as well and I’m opting for a rose gold and nude lace dress. It’s your day so wear what you want!!

lolsrcutr : simply stunning. How do you feel in the dress?
I saw one similar from Sophia Tolli and I just love it.

That dress is stunning and definitely glamourous! It would make an amazing non traditional dress, especially once you pair it with a beautiful bouquet and some bridal style accessories like a single tier cathedral length veil would look amazing! I was also a non traditional dress bride:
