Okay, so I am not due for my period fro another two weeks. Over the last couple of days I have been cramping just as I normally do before I get my period. Thought it was weird because like I said I am not due to get my period yet. Last night I got this horrible pain/cramp in my lower stomach, turned completely pale, and I went to the bathroom and I was bleeding. It didnt look the same as it does when I have my period, it was darker and not as much. I have been under a tremendous amount of stress lately ( most of you have prob read my previous posts) and I know stress can throw your cycle off but I thought it normally makes your period late? I am on birth control, but I did have my first daughter when I was on the pill though. So now I am bleeding, not consistantly but its there. Also, I am cramping really bad when I do bleed. Of course, today being a holiday all Dr. Offices are closed. My Fiance wants me to go to the ER but I really hateee the ER and especially the Er bills afterwards haha. Anyone ever have anything similiar to this? I havent cramped in a couple hours now but I am still bleeding, mainly when I go pee..
Sorry if this is Too Much Information, just curious if anyone has had anything similiar!

i don’t want to scare you but maybe you had a miscarriage? it happened to me a long time ago. i started bleeding while i was in the middle of my pack of bc pills and the bleeding was unusual. when i’m on the pill, my periods are usually very consistent and bright red but this time it was dark and clumpy. they say many women have miscarriages without even knowing it. it’s just the body’s way of rejecting a fetus that is unhealthy.

I’m not a doctor but as long as you’re not gushing blood or in truly horrible pain, it sounds like you can wait to call your doctor tomorrow. I’ve had bleeding between periods before-it does happen and maybe stress is an issue here. But it doesn’t sound like an emergency. Take some Advil and see if that helps the cramps.

@madymommy24: It does sound similar to a miscarriage. If you’re bleeding a small amount you could probably wait to go to the doctors. I would call my regular one though and see what they recommend based on your medical history.

I was thinking miscarriage too. However, would the pain be constant or is it normal to come and go? Its just so weird because last night I was in so much pain I couldnt move. I was home alone with 3 little girls and I had to ask the 4 year old to keep an eye on the two 2 year olds because I thought I was going ot throw up. Then I got so light headed, and I was praying I wouldnt pass out and be alone with 3 babies. Thankfully, I didnt pass out. It seems like when the pain and cramps are here is when I bleed. I can go hours being okay, but when it hurts, it really hurts!

I had a miscarriage/possible ectopic and although I always had dull pain, the severe pain would come and go at first. Same with the bleeding. The nurses told me to go to the ER if I was heavily bleeding or doubled over in pain. I’d definitely at least call your doctor. Have you taken a pregnancy test?
